Also for fishing enthusiasts, the region offers a lot. The Hautes-Alpes is home to many beautiful rivers like the Durance and the Drac, as well as crystal-clear mountain lakes. Trout, brook trout, and char are among the most common species here.

Lake Serre-Ponçon, just 20 minutes from the campsite, is a hotspot for anglers. This vast reservoir, fed by the Durance and Ubaye rivers, offers 80 km of shoreline and is home to trout, char, perch, and pike.
